Coconut and Orange Energy Balls
These energy balls are delicious and so quick and easy to make. They only have 4 ingredients. These are perfect for a grab and go snack, to fuel you through the afternoon.
- 150g Dates
- 110g flaked or whole almonds
- Zest of 1 orange
- Desiccated coconut to roll in
Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes, drain. Add the ingredients, except coconut to a food processor and blend until a sticky dough has formed. Roll the mixture into balls, size of choice, and roll in the coconut. Keep in the fridge, eat within 10 days.
- Almonds are high in protein and healthy fats, they are perfect to boost you and keep you full for longer.
- Dates are a good source of vitamins, minerals and fibre.
