Melbourne Vegan Foody Guide

During my recent trip to Melbs, I was in literal vegan food heaven. There are so many epic cafes everywhere! I was only there for a few days and I went to the most highly recommended vegan cafes and they were amazing, I can’t wait to be back in Melbourne to try so much ore of their incredible food.

I had been wanting to try Matcha Mylkbar for so long and I was so happy to finally get there and it was so worth my long time wait. The funky interior of the cafe combined with friendly staff and an epic menu, you are gonna wanna check this place out. Being my indecisive self, I had n extremely hard time deciding what to eat as there were SO. MANY. AMAZING. OPTIONS. I finally settled on the epic turmeric golden latte and their awesome avocado smash on sourdough with kale pesto, tomatoes and vegan mozzarella, SO TASTY!

Combi

I hopped off the plane and headed straight to Combi to try their famous açaí bowl topped with buckinis, coconut flakes, cranberries, goji berries, passionfruit and fresh berries. I also added their homemade granola and got another golden latte to have with it. It did not disappoint. The açaí was perfectly sweet, a perfect consistency and loaded with toppings, I was in açaí heaven.

This was probably the coolest cafe i have ever been too, there are swings inside and outside and it was just very hip and trendy over all. Again, I had such a hard time choosing what to order but I decided on their cacao mushroom elixer (which had a smiley face on top :) ) and their galaxy açaí which came with a banana and peanut butter '“magnum” - so heavenly!

This awesome restaurant serves an interesting mix of vegan asian food with other cuisines like Italian and the classic Aussie brunch options! I got there for lunch one day and had the HARDEST time deciding what to eat. There were amazing sounding starters like gyzoas, bao, Okonomiyaki and so much more and the mains…. I can’t even begin to describe how many insane options there are! From jackfruit burgers to ramen, to burritos and pho. After much contemplation, i decided on their famous vegan gnocci with smoky roasty red capsicum and tomato sauce and almond feta….. SO EPIC. It was honestly incredibly tasty and I could eat it over and over again. I can’t wait to be back here to try everything.
