Cacao and Matcha Bliss Balls
They are like heathy chocolate truffles with an optional kick of matcha (if you don’t like matcha then just leave it out). If possible use soft medjool dates in these, if not then just soak your dates in some hot water before blending.
These are the perfect on-the-go snack for school, work or just day-to-day life and they are super simple and quick to make.
200g pitted dates (soak in hot water for 5 minutes if dry)
50g desiccated coconut
20g raw cacao powder
almond milk, to make them easier to form
coconut and cacao nibs, for rolling them in
In a food processor, blend together the dry ingredients until a coarse flour texture. Add in the dates and blend until the mixture clumps together, adding some almond milk if needed to make the balls easier to roll. Roll the balls in some coconut and cacao nibs and place them in the fridge to firm them up. Keep in the fridge in an airtight container.
