Review: Ambr Eyewear Glasses
Say adios to headaches and eye strain from electronics.
I was very kindly sent a pair of these Ambr Glasses to try and could not wait to let you know what I thought.
What is Digital Eye Strain?
Digital Eye Strain is the discomfort associated with spending a long time staring at a digital screen at once.
After a long day of staring at a screen at work, school, blogging etc. it is ver common to have burning eyes and pounding headaches. This is one effect of Digital Eye Strain. Another is when you can't sleep at night after binge watching Netflix or Youtube. There are so many other effects of Digital Eye Strain and studies have shown that digital employees experience at least one effect frequently.
How Can I Prevent It?
It is important to recognise the links between screen exposure and eye discomfort, and, at worst, cell damage in the eye. We need to take measures to lower our risk and ensure that our working days are spent with some degree of comfort and protection.
- Buy yourself in a pair of blue light filtering glasses. Ambr Eyewear's lenses block over 55% of harmful blue light and are coated with a premium anti-reflective layer. Their glasses protect your eyes from digital eye strain and ensure a more comfortable and healthy working day.
- Take a break and use the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look away from the screen and focus on something 20 feet away, for 20 seconds.
These glasses are tres chic if I say so myself. They have loads of different styles to choose from - the ones I have are the Zenith and I love them. They fit so well and I am sure that they will suit everyone.
Do they work?
After trialling the glasses for a few weeks I have reaped up the benefits. I no longer have eye strain from typing away essays or studying on the computer or bingeing on Netflix (lets be real, we all do it!). And headaches that i previously received from spending too much time on technology disappeared.
This is my honest opinion and I am so happy to have been able to try the glasses.
