Wellspo: Wellbeing With Abigail
Abigail St. John is 17 years old.
Health and fitness are her passion in life. She runs @wellbeingwithabigail - an instagram account all to do with food, health and fitness.
Abigail has been a huge inspiration to me for so long. Even though she is only a year older than me, I look up to her. Not only does her food always look amazing, she is also such a real and genuine person.
What sparked your interest in health?
My two friends who are twins went paleo a year beforehand and they inspired me to do the same! which later lead me to learning about veganism and I made the switch!.
A typical day on your plate?
Breakfast: either a smoothie bowl or a big bowl of oats.
Lunch: either a smoothie bowl (if i hadn’t eaten one earlier that day) or tofu scramble on toast with some avocado.
Snacks: i’m loving carrots and hummus right now! also rice cakes with peanut butter.
Dinner: a huge tempeh & veggie stir fry or black bean spaghetti.

Who and/or what inspires you?
Your favourite type of exercise?
Arm day at the gym using weights.
How often do you exercise?
3-5x a week.
How do you take care of your mental health?
Praying to God.
Breathing deeply and purposefully.
Always keep my bedroom organized and clean.

Time heals all wounds .
What are the key things you have learned in your journey into health and wellbeing?
Count colours, not calories.
How you physically look is the not most important thing.
Life is filled with amazing opportunities and surprises.
