Choc-Mint Nice Cream
I have always had a soft spot for choc-mint ice cream.
The zing of the mint mixed with the creamy chocolate........ the dream. I took it upon myself to create a healthier version that you CAN have for brekkie, actually scratch that, you SHOULD have for brekkie. So go ahead... DIG IN!
- 2 frozen bananas, peeled and chopped
- 1 heaped tbsp cacao powder
- 1-2 dates or a dash maple syrup (optional)
- handful of mint leaves
- dash almond milk
- large handful of cacao nibs or dark chocolate, to serve
Blend to together all the ingredients, apart from the cacao nibs/ dark choccie, in a blender or a food processor. Pour into a bowl and mix in the cacao nibs/ dark choccie. Enjoy!
